New Swedbank Arena will be largest stadium in Nordic region… for now!

Scheduled to open in 2012, Swedbank Arena is a retractable roof football stadium currently under construction in Solna Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. The main tenant of the stadium will be Sweden's national football team, who will move from their current home at the Råsunda Stadium when it is completed.

AEG to operate the new Stockholm Arena

AEG Facilities and the City of Stockholm have reached an agreement in which the international sports, entertainment and venue organization will lease and operate the new Stockholm Arena, a 30,000-seat retractable roof-arena planned to open in late 2012.
